Luxury Travel Experiences: Courchevel Tourism x Lacoste

A new kind of luxury experience hits the slopes

Lacoste Brings Padel to New Heights in Courchevel

The iconic crocodile brand is making a bold statement for the winter sports season and beyond. Lacoste has partnered with Courchevel Tourisme, with the support of the Courchevel Sports Club and Town Hall, to introduce two new permanent padel courts in one of the world’s most prestigious Alpine destinations.

Since December 2025, Courchevel has officially embraced this fast growing racket sport, reinforcing its reputation as a resort that continuously evolves while staying rooted in its sporting heritage.

Padel Meets the Alps

More accessible, more relaxed, and faster paced than traditional tennis, padel has rapidly reshaped the global sports landscape, much like its American cousin pickleball. Its arrival in Courchevel signals a natural next step for a resort that attracts an international, lifestyle driven audience.

One of the Highest Padel Courts in France

The two newly inaugurated courts enjoy an ultra premium setting at the foot of the Émile Allais slalom stadium, directly opposite the INEOS Club House. Sitting at an altitude of 1,800 metres, Courchevel now boasts one of the highest permanent padel courts in France.

Designed by Courchevel Tourisme in collaboration with the Club des Sports, the Town Hall, and Lacoste, the project reflects the resort’s commitment to enhancing its four season sports offering. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the courts are easily accessible for both daytime play and evening matches.

Built for Performance and Sustainability

What is really cool is that it is designed to withstand extreme mountain conditions.  The courts feature a heated slab powered by an eco-friendly geothermal system.

This innovation ensures a playable surface year round while significantly reducing energy consumption.  So, it is also  sustainable!

An Iconic Collaboration with Lacoste – there’s merch too!

Beyond naming rights, Lacoste is deepening its presence in Courchevel with the upcoming launch of a Courchevel x Lacoste co-branded apparel collection. The collection will be available at the Club des Sports boutique and through select professional partners. Guests can also expect an exclusive Lacoste corner at the INEOS restaurant, offering an immersive brand experience.

This initiative marks Lacoste’s first official entry into the padel world, expanding beyond its historic ties to tennis and golf. The move reflects the sport’s explosive growth. In France alone, padel participation rose by 130 percent compared to 2022, now reaching 850,000 players nationwide. Globally, the World Padel Report 2025 estimates more than 35 million players worldwide.

For Courchevel, the collaboration is another step in blending sport, style, and lifestyle, proving that the resort continues to set the pace for luxury mountain experiences, on and off the slopes.
